How we think about your data

Local-first by default. Audio, transcripts, and documents live on your device.
Bring your own keys. When cloud LLMs or cloud transcription are used, your Anthropic / OpenAI / Deepgram keys are stored in the OS keychain, encrypted at rest, and used to stream directly to the provider. Vathus never sees the content.
Telemetry is opt-in and off by default. If you turn it on, we receive anonymous event counters only — never transcripts, document content, rubrics, or emails.
One-click GDPR export + delete of every row we hold about you.
No tracking, no resale. We don't sell data. We don't have a data-broker side business. We run a subscription software studio.
